이날 공단이 운영하는 전 공영 및 노상주차장을 이용하는 국가유공자에게는 현충일 당일 무료 주차를 제공한다.
또한 중심상가, 봉황대, 대릉원(황남지구), 신경주역 등 4개소 공영주차장을 이용하는 고객들 중 국가유공자, 특정 순번 방문고객에게는 친환경 인증 제품인 부직포 가방을 기념품으로 드리는 특별 이벤트를 실시한다.
공단은 이번에 준비한 특별 이벤트를 통해 경주를 찾는 많은 관광객들에게 좀 더 색다르고 신선한 즐거움과 감동을 선사하고자 한다.
공단 관계자는 “이번 행사를 통해국가유공자의 희생과 헌신을 늘 기억하고 존경하는 사회 분위기 조성과 함께 친환경 및 에너지 절약 실천의 일환으로 부직포 가방 제공 이벤트로 ESG 경영 실천에 앞장 서는 모습을 알리고자 한다”고 말했다.
