브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 한국수입자동차협회(KAIDA)는 5월 수입 승용차 신규등록 통계를 5일 발표했다.
KAIDA가 집계한 통계에 따르면 5월 수입차 신규등록 대수는 총 2만1339대다. 이는 전달 2만910대보다 2.1%증가했으나 전년 동월 대비 (2만3512대)보다는 9.2% 감소한 규모다.
올해 1~5월 누적된 수입차 신규등록 대수는 10만3933대다.
한국수입자동차협회(KAIDA) 정윤영 부회장은 “5월 수입 승용차 신규등록은 브랜드별 신차효과와 물량부족이 혼재하여 브랜드별 등락은 있었으나 전월과 비슷한 수준을 유지했다”라고 설명했다.

5월 차량 연료별 베스트셀링카 순위를 보면, 먼저 가솔린 모델의 경우 BMW 520 모델이 804대가 팔리면서 1를 기록했다.
이어 벤츠 E250이 543대, BMW 530모델이 411대, BMW X3 2.0 318대, 폭스바겐 티구안 Allspace 2.0 TSI가 295대, 벤츠 Mercedes-AMG G 63 292대, BMW 530 xDrive 245대, BMW 320 238대, BMW 630 xDrive Gran Turismo 235대, 벤츠 GLC 300 4MATIC Coupe 212대 순이었다.
디젤 모델 1위는 BMW 620d Gran Turismo가 182대로 1위, 폭스바겐 티구안 2.0 TDI 165대, 벤츠 GLE 400 d 4MATIC Coupe 153대 순으로 집계됐다.
이밖에 벤츠 GLC 220 d 4MATIC Coupe 147대, 폭스바겐 골프 2.0 TDI 130대, 벤츠 E220d 4MATIC 125대, 벤츠 S 400d 4MATIC 109대, BMW 620d xDrive Gran Turismo 95대, 폭스바겐 아테온 2.0 TDI 92대, 벤츠 S 350d 78대가 순위 안에 들었다.
하이브리드 모델에선 렉서스 ES300h이 546대로 가장 많이 신규등록됐다.
이어 벤츠 E350 4MATIC이 545대, 벤츠 C 300 4MATIC 380대, 볼보 XC40 B4 AWD 300대, 벤츠 GLC 300 e 4MATIC Coupe 277대, 벤츠 S 500 4MATIC 264대, 볼보 XC60 B5 AWD 225대, 벤츠 GLE 450 4MATIC 220대, 볼보 S90 B5 203대, 토요타 시에나 하이브리드 195대가 등록됐다.
전기차 모델에선 BMW iX3가 336대로 가장 많았다.

또한 5월 브랜드별 등록대수 순위를 보면, 메르세데스-벤츠(Mercedes-Benz)가 6292대로 가장 많았다.
이어 비엠더블유(BMW) 6036대, 볼보(Volvo) 1502대, 포르쉐(Porsche) 1005대, 렉서스(Lexus) 974대, 아우디(Audi) 902대 순이었다.
