[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 창녕군은 국토교통부 주관 첫 전국 지적측량 경진대회가 8일부터 9일까지 창녕군 부곡온천 일원에서 개최된다.
이번에 개최되는 전국 지적측량 경진대회에는 전국 시도를 대표해 공무원 및 한국국토정보공사 직원 등 약 200명이 참여한다.
경진대회는 최신 측량기계를 활용한 지적측량 검사의 적정 여부, 측량성과 결정의 신속성 및 정확도 등 전문 측량 능력을 겨룬다.
현행 지적측량 자료는 1910년대에 제작된 종이 도면을 전산화해 지적측량에 활용하고 있어, 민원인에게 정확한 측량성과를 제공하기 어려운 실정이다.
따라서 경계분쟁 등 증가하는 민원을 해소하기 위해 공무원 및 측량수행자의 역량증대가 중요시되고 있다.
군 관계자는 “첫 전국 지적측량 경진대회가 부곡온천 일원에서 개최되는 만큼 경남도와 협조해 행사에 차질이 없도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
