한국원자력환경공단, 재난대응 안전한국훈련 실시

공단에 따르면 이번 훈련은 행정안전부의 안전한국훈련 기본계획에 따라 중저준위 방폐장에서 발생할 수 있는 폭우로 인한 토사면무너짐과 강풍으로 인한 시설물 피해 발생, 이에 따른 사상자 발생 상황을 가정해 실시됐다.

이날 훈련에는 경주시, 경주소방서, 경주경찰서, 동국대학교 경주병원 등 10개 유관기관 관계자 80여 명이 참여해 행정안전부 중점사항인 유관기관 간 협력체계를 집중 점검했다.

특히 훈련은 공단 본사와 중저준위 방폐장 현장 상황실이 실시간 연계되어 훈련 전 과정에 재난안전통신(PS-LTE)을 활용하여 진행됐다.

조성돈 한국원자력환경공단 이사장은 “기후변화로 재난이 빈번해지고 복합적으로 발생할 수 있는 만큼 재난사고를 사전에 철저히 대비하고 재난상황 발생 시 신속한 대응 및 복구를 위해 유관기관 간 긴밀한 협조 체계를 공고히 하겠다.”고 말했다.
