브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 국민연금공단은 제11회 ‘국민연금 연구과제 국민 공모전’을 오는 8월 31일까지 진행한다고 밝혔다.
공모전은 국민의 연금제도에 대한 관심을 제고하고 국민연금제도 발전을 위한 창의적이고 시의성 있는 연구과제 발굴을 위해 2013년부터 시작돼 올해로 11회를 맞이했다.
작년에는 총 63건의 연구과제를 접수했고, 접수된 제안과제 중 ‘세대별 노후 필요자금을 고려한 국민연금의 노후소득 보장 기여도 추정’을 비롯해 10개 과제가 우수과제로 선정됐다.
이번 공모전은 연금제도연구, 재정추계분석, 기금정책분석, 연금개혁 등 4가지 분야에 대해 대한민국 국민 누구나 연구과제를 응모할 수 있다. 심사 결과는 오는 9월 말 연구원 홈페이지를 통해 발표될 예정이다.
제안된 연구과제는 제안주제 적합성 여부 및 내용 충실도를 평가하는 1차 심사와 업무부서 및 연구진이 참여하는 2차 심사를 통해 우수 연구과제를 선발할 예정이다.
또한, 공모전은 제안과제에 대해 피드백을 제공하여 국민연금제도에 대해 정확한 인식을 제고하는 쌍방향 소통창구로서의 역할을 할 계획이다.

권문일 연구원장은 “공모전이 사회적 요구에 부합하는 연구과제를 발굴하고 선정하기 위한 능동적인 의견수렴의 장이 되길 바란다”며 “제5차 재정계산을 위한 의견뿐만 아니라 연금제도 발전을 위해 국민의 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
