브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= DL이앤씨는 지난 9일 대전 대덕연구단지에 위치한 DL이앤씨 안전체험학교에서 토목사업본부 협력업체 최고경영자(CEO)를 대상으로 안전체험교육 및 안전간담회를 실시했다고 12일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 중대재해 처벌법 시행에 따른 안전의 중요성을 강조하고 협력업체가 주도하는 자율 안전활동 의지를 고취시키기 위해 마련했다. DL이앤씨 권수영 토목사업본부장 겸 최고안전책임자(CSO)와 임정빈 토목사업부장을 비롯해 토목사업본부 주요 협력업체 20개 사 CEO 등이 참석했다.
협력업체 CEO들은 먼저 안전체험교육에 직접 참여했다. 이들은 건설 현장에서 주로 발생하는 중장비 협착과 개구부 추락 등의 사고 상황을 직접 체험하며 사고 예방의 중요성을 확인했다. 이어 안전간담회를 통해 최근 중대재해 처벌법 관련 판례와 안전∙보건 핵심 의무사항을 공유하고 협력업체 자율 안전활동 수행을 다짐했다.
특히, 이날 행사의 전 일정을 주관한 권수영 본부장은 협력업체 CEO들의 안전 관련 건의사항 등을 직접 청취하고 해결방안을 함께 논의하는 시간도 가졌다.
권 본부장은 “안전은 상생협력의 필수 조건으로 협력업체가 주도하는 자율 안전활동의 원활한 이행을 위한 지원을 아끼지 않을 것이다”고 말했다.
