브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 우리 군이 북한이 발사한 우주발사체 잔해 일부를 인양하는데 성공했다.
합동참모본부는 16일 "어제 (15일) 오후 8시 50분 경 북한 우주 발사체 일부를 인양했다. 인양된 물체는 추후 국방과학연구소 등 전문기관에서 정밀 분석할 예정"이라고 밝혔다.
합참에 따르면 이날 인양에 성공한 잔해는 길이 12m, 직경 2~3m가량의 원통형으로, 1·2·3단으로 이뤄진 발사체의 2단 부위로 추정된다.

잔해는 심해 75m 펄에 묻혀 있었으며 빠른 물살과 짧은 시정 탓에 인양까지는 보름 가량 걸렸다.
우리 군은 또한 3단에 탑재돼 있을 북한 정찰위성 '만리경'을 찾기 위해 추가 탐색 작전도 지속하고 있다.
한편, 북한은 지난 5월31일 오전6시29분 경 우주발사체(천리마-1형)를 발사했다. 그러나 이 발사체는 예상 경로를 벗어난 어청도 서방 200여km 해상에 추락했다.
