브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 국민연금공단이 한국사회복지협의회에 장애아동을 위한 재활치료비 4788만원을 후원했다.
후원금은 한국장애인부모회에서 추천한 저소득 가정 장애아동 19명에게 매월 20만원씩 1년 동안 지급된다. 재활보조기구 구입, 물리치료, 재활훈련 등의 비용으로 사용된다.
공단은 장애정도심사, 장애인활동지원 등의 업무를 수행하는 장애인 복지서비스 대표기관으로서 ‘장애아동 재활치료 지원’ 사회공헌에 관심을 두고 2012년부터 올해까지 총 4억4000만원을 후원했다.
후원금은 공단 임직원이 자발적으로 참여해 월급에서 원천 공제하는 ‘1인 1나눔 기금’을 재원으로 한다.
이여규 복지이사는 “이번 후원으로 장애아동 자립 생활 지원에 도움을 줄 수 있어 기쁘게 생각한다”며 “공단은 앞으로도 도움이 필요한 소외계층을 위해 나눔을 꾸준히 실천하겠다”고 전했다.
