【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 박범수, 이하 한울본부)는 21일 울진군종합자원봉사센터(센터장 장태윤) 등 울진군 내 사회복지시설 및 기관 13곳에기부금 6억 9천6백만 원을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

한울본부에 따르면 기부금 중 4억 7천5백만 원은 취약계층의 집수리 및 방역소독 등 주거환경 개선 사업 지원을 위해 사용될 예정이며, 2억 2천1백만 원은 지역 우수 봉사단체 활동, 복지기관 및 시설의 사회공헌 프로그램 지원에 쓰일 계획이다.
장태윤 센터장은 “전달해주신 기부금은 저소득청년, 한부모가정,요양시설 어르신 등 주변 이웃에게 큰 도움이 될 것”이라며 “어려운 이웃에게지원을 아끼지 않는 한울본부와 직원들에게 감사드린다”라고 전했다.
박범수 본부장은 “다양한 사업과 복지프로그램을 통해 관내 어려운 이웃들의 삶의 질이 향상되길 바란다”라며, “앞으로도 한울본부는 주위에어렵고 힘든 이웃을 위해 다채로운사회공헌활동을 추진하겠다”라고 말했다.
한울본부는 지금까지 약 26억 원을 경북사회복지공동모금회에 기탁하였으며 울진지역 취약계층 복지증진에 앞장서고 있다.
