브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 직장인 10명 중 4명이 여름휴가 기간을 이용해 이직을 준비할 계획인 것으로 나타났다.
27일 잡코리아에 따르면 최근 남녀 직장인 653명을 대상으로 7월~8월 중 여름휴가를 떠날 계획인지 질문한 결과, 27.4%가 ‘여름휴가를 떠날 예정이다’고 답했고, ‘휴가 없이 평소대로 일할 것이다’고 답한 이들은 26.0%였다.
나머지 46.6%는 ‘여름휴가 기간을 이용해 이직을 준비하겠다’고 응답했다. 직장인 10명중 4명이 휴가 대신 이직 준비를 택한 것이다.
이직을 준비하는 이유는 43.1%의 직장인이 ‘휴가보다 이직이 더 급하기 때문’이라고 답했다. 이어 △휴가 기간을 이용해 여유롭게 이직할 기업을 탐색하고 입사지원하기 위해(23.0%) △휴가 기간 동안 면접을 보려고(18.1%) △평소 직장생활 중에는 이직 준비가 눈치 보여서(14.1%) 등이었다.
여름 휴가 기간 동안 이직을 준비하려는 직장인 중에는 ‘지금부터 이력서를 업데이트하고 있다’고 답한 이들이 38.5%로 가장 많았다. ‘휴가 기간에 업데이트 하겠다’고 답한 직장인은 31.6%였고, 나머지 29.9%는 ‘지원하고 싶은 기업이 생기면 그때 작성하겠다’고 답했다.
한편, 여름휴가를 떠나겠다고 답한 직장인들은 여름휴가지는 ‘제주도’가 23.6%로 가장 높게 선택됐다. 다음으로 ‘강원도’를 택한 이들이 21.0%, ‘해외’가 20.4%였다.
