국토부-경북도-울진군-LH 등 국가산단 상생협력 협약 체결

이날 원희룡 국토부장관, 이철우 경북도지사, 손병복 울진군수, 주낙영 경주시장, 권기창 안동시장을 비롯한 이한준 LH사장, 이재혁 경북개발공사 사장이 참석한 가운데 회의가 진행됐다.

이번 회의에서는 지난 3월 15일 국가산단 후보지로 확정된 경북지역 3곳(울진, 경주, 안동)에 들어설 신규 국가산단의 성공적 조성을 위한 발전방안과 경북지역의 활력 제고를 위한 국토교통 현안 과제에 대한 논의가 이루어졌다.

회의 후 국토부, 경북도, 울진군, 경주시, 안동시와 국가산단 시행자인 LH공사 및 경북개발공사는 경북지역 국가산단의 성공추진을 위한 상생협력 협약을 체결했다.

현안 회의에서 원희룡 국토부장관은“이번에 선정된 경북 국가산단 3곳이 경북의 새로운 도약과 대한민국의 균형발전에 기여할 수 있도록 지자체 및 시행자인 LH, 경북개발공사와 함께 노력해 나가겠다”라고 말했다.

손병복 울진군수는“전기사업법 시행령 개정을 통해 원전 전력을 울진 국가산단 내 수소 생산 기업에 공급할 수 있도록 제도개선을 해달라”며 원희룡 장관에게 강력히 건의했고 원 장관은 범정부 차원에서 적극 검토하겠다고 답했다.
