이를 기념하여 500만 번째 방문한 고객에게는 태블릿PC를, 500만 번째 전·후 방문객에게는 덕구온천 숙박권을 선물했다. 이날 태블릿PC를 선물로 받게 된 행운의 주인공은 울진군 울진읍에 거주하는 이제나씨다.
이제나 씨는 “평소 원자력에 관심이 많아서 한울에너지팜에 자주 방문한다”라며, “자주 오다 보니 이런 행운도 함께해 너무 기쁘다”라고 소감을 밝혔다.
한울에너지팜은 1985년 전력홍보관으로 처음 문을 열었다. 이후 다섯 차례 리모델링을 거쳐 전시관이자 놀이터, 휴식공간이라는 다양한 성격의 복합문화공간으로 탈바꿈했으며, 어린이 행사, 공연, 원데이클래스, 견학 등을 지속적으로 시행하여 지역 문화생활 여건 개선에 힘쓰고 있다.
박범수 본부장은 “아이부터 어른까지 남녀노소 함께 즐길 수 있는 콘텐츠를 더욱 강화해 나겠다”라며, “주말에도 개방하니 지역주민은 물론 소규모로 울진 여행을 계획하시는 분들도 오셔서 함께 즐기시길 기대한다”라고 밝혔다.
