한울3호기 방사능방재 합동훈련 실시

【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 박범수, 이하 한울본부)는 29일 한울 3호기 방사능방재 합동훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

한울본부에 따르면 방사능방재 합동훈련은‘원자력시설 등의 방호 및 방사능방재대책법’에 따라 2년마다 부지별로 실시하고 있다.

발전소 운영 중 만일의 사태에 발생할 수 있는 방사선비상사고를 조기에 수습하여 국민의 생명과 재산을 보호하고 환경에미치는 방사선영향 최소화를 목표로 한다.

이번 훈련은 지자체, 유관기관 및 군민들이 직접 참여하는 훈련의 형태로 원자력안전위원회, 한국원자력안전기술원 및 한국원자력의학원 관계자들의 점검하에 진행됐다.

비상계획의 실효성 확인을 위해 비상요원 소집, 유관기관과 실시간 정보공유, 이동형 발전차를 이용한 전원복구, 오염환자 의료구호 훈련, 발전소 종사자 대피 등을 중점적으로 실시했다.

박범수 본부장은“금번 방사능방재 합동훈련은 신속한 비상 대응조직 가동, 발전소 비상상황 대처, 상황전파, 종사자 및 주민보호 조치권고 등 방사선 비상 사고에 대한 체계적이고 다양한 대처능력을 점검하고 유관기관과의 협력을 강화시키는 계기가 되었다”라고 훈련소감을 밝혔다.

Director Park Beom-soo said, “This joint radioactive disaster prevention drill checks the ability to systematically and variously respond to radiation emergencies, such as promptly operating an emergency response organization, responding to emergency situations at power plants, disseminating the situation, and recommending measures to protect workers and residents, and cooperate with related organizations.
