브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 신용보증기금은 혈액수급 불안정 해소와 공공기관의 사회적 책임 실천을 위한 ‘사랑나눔 헌혈 행사’를 실시했다고 5일 밝혔다.
신보는 지난달 27일 대구경북혈액원의 찾아가는 헌혈버스를 활용해 대구 본사에서 단체헌혈을 실시하고, 전국 임직원들의 헌혈증을 기부 받아 지난 4일 한국백혈병소아암협회 대구경북지회에 전달했다.
신보 관계자는 “이번 헌혈증 기부가 백혈병·소아암으로 고통을 겪고 있는 지역 내 환아들의 치료에 작게나마 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “사랑나눔 헌혈 행사는 이웃의 어려움을 함께 극복하기 위해 임직원들이 자발적으로 참여하는 의미있는 행사인 만큼 앞으로도 지속적인 실천으로 기관의 사회적 책임을 다할 계획이다”고 전했다.
한편, 신보는 보증, 보험 등 기관 고유사업을 통한 지역경제 활성화와 함께 ‘지역 취약계층 결식 예방을 위한 도시락 기부’, ‘대학생 봉사단과 함께하는 지역 교육지원 및 환경보호사업’ 등 다양한 지역사회와의 상생·협력 활동을 전개하고 있다.
