【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(주)이 주최하고 (재)경주문화재단이 주관하는‘핑크퐁 클래식 나라 : 뚜띠를 찾아라’가 오는 8월 27일 일요일 오후 3시 경주예술의전당 화랑홀에서 선보인다.

이번 공연은 클래식은 지루하다는 편견을 깨고자 어린이의 눈높이에 맞춘 음악과 퍼포먼스를 바탕으로 온 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있도록 기획되었다.
아이들이 사랑하는 인기 캐릭터인 핑크퐁을 필두로 사자왕의 생일파티 음악회를 무사히 치르기 위해 아기상어와 바이올리니스트 대니 구, 그리고 성악가가 함께 뚜띠(Tutti)를 찾아 클래식 나라로 모험을 떠나는 이야기를 그린다.
‘아기상어’, ‘티라노사우루스’ 등의 핑크퐁 대표 동요와 ‘동물의 사육제’, ‘라데츠키 행진곡’ 등의 친숙한 클래식 곡들을 오케스트라 연주로 만나볼 수 있다.
열정적인 음악성과 모험적인 프로젝트로 자신의 음악적 스펙트럼을 넓혀가고 있는 바이올리니스트 대니 구는 클래식 솔리스트, 실내악 연주자뿐만 아니라 재즈, 팝 등 다양한 장르에서 두각을 나타내고 있다.
특히 이번 공연을 준비하며 그는 아이들에게 클래식을 더 쉽고 재미있는 음악으로 만들겠다는 사명을 가지고 핑크퐁 클래식 뮤지컬에 참여한다고 밝혔다.
함께하는 바싸르 오케스트라는 작/편곡 전문의 오케스트라 팀으로 모든 멤버가 국내외에서 클래식 음악을 전공한 전문 연주자로 구성되었다. 이번 공연에서는 그들만의 독특한 편곡 능력과 연주 실력을 선보인다.
