【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박희경 기자=영덕문화관광재단(이하 재단)은 오는 16일 오전 10시부터 영해면 괴시민속마을에서 지역의 안녕과 발전을 기원하는‘마을굿’과‘지신밟기’완판 공연을 펼친다고 13일 밝혔다.

재단에 따르면 ‘2023 문화도시 조성사업’의 일환으로 진행되는‘괴시민속마을 지신밟기’행사는 국가무형문화재와 전문 연희단이 이끌고 영덕군 9개읍·면 풍물단이 총출동해서 신명을 돋우는 한마당 잔치로 개최된다.
‘지신밟기’는 음력 정초에 마당 밟기를 통해 악귀와 잡신을 물리치고, 한 해 농사의 풍작과 풍어, 주민의 다복을 축원하는 민속놀이로 이번 행사에서는 마을 입구 당산목에서 열리는 당산굿을 시작으로 마을 전체를 아우르는 마을굿이 먼저 전개되고, 이어 괴시마을의 중심 영양남씨 괴시파종택에서‘지신밟기’완판 공연을 펼친 후 주변 고택까지 확산 해갈 예정이다.
고택에서 액운을 물리치는 성주굿을 한 후 경상남북도의 상여소리를 재연하는 상여놀이를 하며 마을을 돌고, 마지막으로 마을 공터에 모두 모여 한판 놀이마당을 펼치는 대동제로 마무리 된다.
이번 행사에는 국가무형문화재 제127호 아랫녘수륙재 이사 원공스님, (전)국가무형문화재 제11-7호 김천금릉빗내농악 상쇠 및 수석전수교육사 손영만, (현)사단법인 달성다사농악(12차진굿) 보존회 대표이사 배관호, 경상북도무형문화재 제4호 예능보유자 김태훈, 국가무형문화재 밀양백중놀이 이수자 이종태, 울산의 전통예술단체 내드름 연희단이 길을 열고 영덕군 9개 읍·면 마을풍물단이 풍악을 울리며 전체 분위기를 압도하게 된다.
영덕문화관광재단 담당자는“최근 지신밟기 완판 공연을 하는 사례가 적어 이번 괴시민속마을의 행사가 더욱 소중하다. 특히 경상남도와 경상북도의 상여소리를 비교해볼 수 있는 상여놀이도 재연되니 더 기대가 크다”며“더운 날씨에 많은 인재들이 모여 만드는 축제인 만큼 많이들 오셔서 지역의 평안과 개인의 소망을 비는 자리가 되었으면 한다”는 바람을 전했다.
