브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 삼성물산 리조트부문이 운영하는 에버랜드가 지난 7일 판다월드에서 태어난 국내 최초 쌍둥이 아기 판다 자매들의 근황을 13일 공개했다.
에버랜드 인스타그램, 유튜브, 틱톡 등 SNS에 올라온 사진과 영상에서는 인큐베이터 속에서 사육사들의 보살핌을 받고 있는 쌍둥이 판다와 젖병을 물고 있는 모습 등이 담겨 있다.
에버랜드는 산모와 아기들 모두 건강한 상태를 유지하고 있으며, 엄마 아이바오가 쌍둥이 판다 모두를 동시에 돌보기 어려운 상황을 감안해 사육사들이 인공포육을 병행하고 있다고 전했다.
아이바오가 쌍둥이 중 한 마리에게 직접 젖을 물리면 다른 한 마리는 인큐베이터로 데려와 어미에게서 짠 초유를 사육사가 젖병에 담아 물리는 방식이다. 쌍둥이 판다들이 어미 품에서 골고루 사랑을 받을 수 있도록 인공포육은 교대로 진행된다.
