거제시, ‘2023 거제 바다로 세계로’ 전면 취소

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 거제시가 오는 21일부터 23일까지 3일간 개최 예정이던 ‘2023 거제 바다로 세계로’ 행사를 전면 취소한다고 밝혔다.

거제시는 기록적인 폭우로 인해 전국적인 인명, 재산 피해가 발생함에 따라 피해 복구와 향후 추가적인 재해 예방에 행정력을 집중하고자 축제 전면 취소를 결정했다.

박종우 시장은 “지하차도 침수 등 수해 피해자와 유족들의 아픔을 함께하고자 축제를 취소하게 됐다”며 “피해 복구와 예방을 위해 모든 행정력을 동원하겠다”고 말했다.
