동국대 WISE캠퍼스, 문무대왕 해양심포지엄 개최

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대 WISE캠퍼스는오는 26일 경주시 화백컨벤션센터(HICO)에서 ’제5회 문무대왕 해양대상 시상식 및 문무대왕 해양 심포지엄‘ 이 개최된다고 21일 밝혔다.

경상북도와 경주시가 주최하고 환동해산업연구원과 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 글로벌융합연구소가 주관하는 이번 행사는 문무대왕의 해양비전과 경주바다의 가치를 글로벌 트렌드와 미래지향적 관점으로 재해석하고 문화콘텐츠로 개발하기 위한 학술적 연구성과 축적 및 토론의 장을 위해 마련되었다.

먼저 이날 문무대왕 해양대상 시상식에서는 서울대학교 박경애 교수를 비롯한 해양과학·산업·교육문화 등에 공헌한 개인과 단체에 문무대왕 해양대상 특별상이 전달될 예정이다.

이어 문무대왕 해양 심포지엄에는 윤학배 한국해양대학교 석좌교수의 기조강연 ‘문무대왕의 해양유산 탐험’을 시작으로 문학에서의 문무대왕, 영상 속 문무대왕을 주제로 발표를 진행하며, 그리고 생성 AI를 활용한 문무대왕 콘텐츠 개발과 활용에 대한 주제발표가 이어진다.

마지막으로 종합토론에서는 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 일어일문학과 이홍천 교수 및 정보경영학과 김의창 교수 등이 좌장과 전문가 패널로 참가하여 심도 있는 토론을 진행할 예정이다.

이번 행사를 주관하는 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 글로벌융합연구소 이영찬 소장(정보경영학과 교수)은 “이번 심포지엄이 국내 해양·역사·콘텐츠 관련 최고 전문가들이 참여하는 수준 높은 학술행사가 되기를 기대한다”고 말했다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus hosts Munmu the Great Ocean Symposium

Dongguk University WISE Campus announced on the 21st that the 5th Munmu Great Ocean Awards Ceremony and Munmu Great Ocean Symposium will be held at the Hwabaek Convention Center (HICO) in Gyeongju on the 26th.

Hosted by Gyeongsangbuk-do and Gyeongju-si, and organized by the Pan-East Sea Industry Research Institute and Dongguk University's WISE Campus Global Convergence Research Institute, this event was prepared to reinterpret King Munmu's ocean vision and the value of Gyeongju's sea from a global trend and future-oriented perspective, and to develop academic research achievements and discussions to develop them into cultural content.

First of all, at the ceremony of the King Munmu Ocean Awards, special awards for the King Munmu Ocean Awards will be given to individuals and organizations that have contributed to marine science, industry, education and culture, including Seoul National University Professor Park Kyung-ae.

Following the King Munmu Sea Symposium, starting with the keynote lecture ‘Exploration of King Munmu the Great’s Maritime Heritage’ by Chair Professor Yoon Hak-bae at Korea Maritime and Ocean University, presentations will be made on the themes of King Munmu in literature and King Munmu in video, followed by presentations on the development and utilization of contents for King Munmu using generative AI.

Finally, in the general discussion, Dongguk University's WISE Campus Department of Japanese Language and Literature Professor Hongcheon Lee and Department of Information Management Department Professor Euichang Kim will participate as moderators and expert panelists to conduct in-depth discussions.

Dongguk University WISE Campus Global Convergence Research Institute Director Lee Yeong-chan (Professor of Information Management), who is hosting this event, said, “I hope that this symposium will be a high-level academic event in which the best experts in maritime, history, and content in Korea will participate.”
