브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= bhc치킨은 지난 1월부터 6월까지 사회복지시설에 기부한 치킨이 약 8000마리에 이른다고 3일 밝혔다.
이 기간 동안 명진들꽃사랑마을(보육원), 작은 안나의 집(장애인시설), 신아재활원, 남부노인전문요양원, 송파노인요양센터 등 서울과 수도권 중심으로 15개 사회복지시설에 총 100여 회에 걸쳐 치킨 기부가 진행됐다.
bhc치킨 본사는 가맹점 교육에 앞서 지역 복지단체들과 교육 간 조리되는 치킨들을 전달받을 수 있도록 사전에 협약을 맺었으며, 실제 조리된 치킨들은 교육 당일에 바로 지역 단체로 전달된다. 전달되는 치킨은 교육 커리큘렴에 필수 과정이자 bhc치킨의 대표 메뉴인 뿌링클, 맛초킹, 후라이드, 골드킹을 비롯한 신메뉴까지 다양하다.
