[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 제78주기 원폭희생자 추모제가 지난 6일 합천원폭복지회관 내 위령각에서 거행됐다.
한국원폭피해자협회 합천지부 주관으로 열린 추모제에는 김윤철 군수를 비롯해 김태호 국회의원, 이도완 경상남도 복지보건국장, 조삼술 합천군의회의장, 장진영 경상남도의회 의원, 원폭피해자협회 임원진, 장석도 한국원폭피해자복지회관장, 주대한민국 일본국대사관 및 일본 시민단체 등 300여명이 참석했다.
추모제는 초헌관에 김윤철 군수, 아헌관에 조삼술 군의장, 종헌관에 정원술 원폭협회장이 각각 역할을 맡았으며 오전10시 제례행사를 시작으로 추모공연, 헌화 및 추도사, 유족대표인사 등으로 진행됐다.
1945년 8월 6일 히로시마와 9일 나가사키에 투하된 원폭으로 희생된 한국인 영령을 기리며, 원폭으로 인한 한국인 원폭피해자가 있다는 사실을 알리고 이들이 겪고 있는 신체적·정신적 고통을 치유하기 위해 열리고 있다.
김윤철 합천군수는 추도사를 통해 “고통과 두려움 속에서 생을 마감하신 한국 원폭 희생자 영령들께 깊은 애도의 뜻을 표하며, 지금도 그 후유증으로 고통받고 있는 원폭피해자분들과 유가족 여러분께도 위로의 마음을 전한다”고 말했다.
