울진군, 선제적 대비로 태풍 피해 최소화

태풍 ‘카눈’은 지난 10일 한반도를 수직 관통하며 강풍과 많은 비를 뿌리고 지나갔다. 울진군도 10일 하루 동안 최고 220mm의 강풍을 동반한 큰 비가 내렸다.

이번 태풍으로 울진군은 일부 지역에 도로 침수로 인한 통제와 제방 침수, 농경지 일부 유실 등의 재산 피해가 발생했으나, 인명 피해는 한 건도 발생하지 않았다.

울진군은 강도 ‘강’의 태풍 북상에도 불구하고 관내 피해가 크지 않은 데는 가용 행정력을 총동원한 철저한 재난 대응 체계 운용에 있다고 보고 있다.
