[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 밀양시는 대중교통 비운행 지역 주민들의 이동권보장 및 아리랑버스 활성화를 위해 오는 24일부터 기존 아리랑버스 9개 노선 중 8개 노선을 개편하고 1개 노선을 신설한다.

이번 노선 개편에서는 주요 거점에만 승하차하던 운행방식을 모든 시내버스 정류장에 승하차가 가능하도록 변경해 이용자들이 아리랑버스에 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 편의성을 높였다.

이용자가 없는 일부 구간을 수요에 맞도록 노선을 변경하고 표충사와 부산대 등 시내·시외버스와 중복되는 노선의 배차 시간도 조율했다.

또한 밀성초중고 학생들의 내이동 아파트 단지와 삼문동 아파트 단지 하교를 위해 27-2번 노선을 신설했다.

시내버스와 상이한 아리랑버스 노선명으로 인해 이용자들이 관광버스나 전세버스 등으로 오해를 하던 문제도 개선해 기존 ‘아리랑버스1번~8번’에서 ‘21번~28번’으로 노선명을 변경했다.

이용요금은 시내버스와 동일하다.
