브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 대우건설은 지난 18일 고용노동부와 산업안전보건공단이 주관하고 동아오츠카와 함께하는 ‘안전일터 조성의 날’ 캠페인을 진행했다고 22일 밝혔다.
이번 캠페인은 산업현장에서 온열질환 위험인지 및 대응요령과 예방수칙을 준수하고 안전모 착용 문화를 정착하기 위한 것으로 대우건설 올림픽파크포레온(둔촌주공재건축) 현장에서 진행됐다.
정윤진 고용노동부 서울동부지청장, 고광재 안전보건공단 서울광역본부장 등 주요 관계자와 대우건설과 동아오츠카 임원, 현장소장 등이 참석했다.
캠페인은 동아오츠카 사이언스팀에서 준비한 근로자 대상 온열질환 예방교육으로 포문을 열었다. ‘온열질환 예방을 위한 수분섭취’라는 주제로 온열질환 예방 및 온열질환 대처 방법에 대한 내용을 교육했다. 안전모 등 올바른 보호구 착용을 위한 교육도 이뤄졌다.
현장에 설치된 메디컬존에서는 근로자들이 직접 참여하는 온열질환 대처 솔루션 체험을 진행했다. 체온측정 및 뇌파/맥파 검사를 통한 스트레스 진단, 아이스튜브 체험과 이온 음료를 음용하는 시간을 가졌다. 이번 행사에는 안전보건공단 건강센터 의료진이 배치되어 근로자들의 건강상담도 병행했다.
대우건설 관계자는 “역대급 폭염이 지속되는 가운데 대표이사, CSO 등 회사 경영진의 각별한 관심으로 전현장 전반에 안전문화 확산과 온열질환 예방에 대한 공감대가 형성돼 있다”며 “일회성이 아닌 지속적으로 안전한 일터를 만들기 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
