브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 제네시스와 현대자동차가 J.D.파워 선정 신차 첨단 기술 만족도 조사에서 상위권을 석권하며 글로벌 최고 수준의 기술력을 인정받았다.
24일(현지시간) 미국 시장조사기관 J.D.파워는 ‘2023 미국 기술 경험 지수 조사(U.S. Tech Experience Index, TXI)’ 결과, 제네시스(656점)와 현대차(547점)가 캐딜락(533점), 렉서스(533점), BMW(528점) 등 전체 브랜드 순위 1위, 2위를 차지했다고 전했다.
TXI 조사는 2023년형 신형 모델을 구입하고 90일 이상 소유한 8만여명의 소비자를 대상으로 올해 2월부터 5월까지 진행됐다.
이 조사는 자동차에 탑재된 △편의성 △최신 자동화 기술 △에너지 및 지속가능성 △인포테인먼트 및 커넥티비티 등 4가지 카테고리에 포함된 40개 기술에 대한 만족도를 1000점 척도로 묻는 고객 설문을 통해 각 브랜드의 신기술 혁신 수준과 사용 편의성을 평가한다.
특히, TXI 조사는 J.D.파워의 주요 조사로 꼽히는 신차품질조사(IQS)와 상품성 만족도 조사(APEAL)의 보완 역할을 수행하는 것으로 알려져 있다.
제네시스는 이번 조사에서 가장 두각을 나타낸 브랜드로 평가됐다. 제네시스는 럭셔리 브랜드와 일반 브랜드를 통틀어 최고 점수인 656점을 획득, 3년 연속 전체 브랜드 중 1위를 기록했다. 제네시스의 656점은 럭셔리 브랜드의 TXI 점수 평균인 588점을 70점 이상 상회하는 점수다.
