이를 위해 시는 수산물 안전관리 및 검사 강화, 어업인 경영자금 긴급지원, 수산물 소비촉진 행사 등에 주안점을 둬 안전한 수산물 공급에 나선다.
먼저 방사능 검사 등 수산물 안전성을 한층 강화한다.
시는 예산 3억 원을 들여 방사능 검사 장비인 감마핵종분석기를 1대를 구입해 가자미, 삼치, 도루묵 등 주요 5어종을 대상으로 주 2회 방사능 검사를 실시한다.
예산 3억 3400만원 예산을 투입해 감포 행정선관리사무소 부지 내 방사능 검사 실험실도 구축한다.
수입 수산물 원산지 표시 및 유통이력 신고 품목은 기존 17개에서 21개로 확대하고 특별점검도 정기적으로 추진한다.
또 오염수 방류로 인해 피해가 예상되는 어업인에게 대출이자 30% 이내를 지원하는 ‘어업인 경영자금 긴급지원’ 사업을 시행한다.
더불어 위축된 수산물 소비 활성화를 위해 안강공설시장에서 오는 9월 27일부터 3일간 1인당 5천원 할인쿠폰 2매를 발급하는 수산물 할인행사를 펼친다.
이어 감포항 일원에서는 10월 12일부터 3일간 가자미 요리시식, 초등학생 동시 경연대회 등 감포항 가자미 축제를 개최해 수산물 소비심리를 회복한다.
