울진군, 죽변면 ‘어울림 플랫폼 건립공사’착공

이번 사업은 죽변면 도시재생사업의 일환으로 구 죽변면사무소 부지 내 주민 커뮤니티 공간을 조성한다.

총사업비 100억(국비 50억, 지방비 50억)을 투입하여 지상 5층, 연면적 약 2,966㎡ 규모의 지역공동체 거점 공간으로 2024년 12월 건립될 예정이다.

어울림 플랫폼은 1층 실버식당·공유주방·사랑방 카페, 2층 죽변보건지소·교육실, 3층 생활문화센터·돌봄실·휴게실·사무실, 4층 센터사무국·마을관리협동조합·회의실·공용공간, 5층 도심생활주택 10실로 조성될 예정이다.

손병복 울진군수는“죽변 어울림 플랫폼 건립이 완공되면 쇠퇴하는 항구 도시의 새로운 기능 도입으로 도심 활력 제고 및 자생적 성장 기반이 마련되고, 지역주민의 삶의 질 향상과 지역공동체 활성화로 지역주민의 복리증진을 도모하게 될 것으로 기대한다”라고 말했다.
