道公 포항영덕건설사업단, 취약계층 집수리 ‘포항영덕 해비타트’ 사업 실시

【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박희경 기자=영덕군종합자원봉사센터(센터장 권용걸)는 지난 30일 한국도로공사 포항영덕건설사업단(단장 김시한)과 함께 영덕군 병곡면에서 취약계층 집수리 ‘포항영덕 해비타트’ 사업을 실시했다고 1일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 영덕군종합자원봉사센터와 영덕군청 주민복지과의 대상자 발굴 및 추천으로 관내 거주 중인 취약계층을 선정해 진행됐다.

지난해부터 꾸준하게 해비타트 사업을 이어오고 있는 한국도로공사 포항영덕건설사업단은 직원들의 사회공헌 활동으로 영덕군종합자원봉사센터와 협업해 가정 내 폐기물 수거, 도배ㆍ장판 시공, 생활용품 교체 및 정리 활동을 통해 대상자의 쾌적한 주거환경 개선을 위해 노력하고 있다.

김시한 한국도로공사 포항영덕건설사업단 단장은 “어려운 상황 속에서도 희망을 갖고 꿈을 키워갈 수 있도록 지속적으로 응원하겠다”며 “한국도로공사 포항영덕건설사업단은 지역밀착 경영 실현으로 관내 이웃들과 함께 성장할 수 있도록 적극적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
