[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 창녕군은 오는 9일부터 10일까지 양일간, 창녕지역 힘겨루기 소 육성 및 민속경기 활성화를 위해 ‘제24회 창녕 상설 민속 소힘겨루기대회’를 부곡온천 관광특구 내 창녕소힘겨루기 경기장에서 개최한다.
이번 상설대회에는 창녕지역 소 40두를 비롯해 청도·의령지역 등 전국에서 54두가 출전해 총 94두가 경기에 참여할 예정이다.
경기방식은 단판승 방식으로 백두·태백 등 체급별 경기와 창녕 힘겨루기 육성우 시범경기가 펼쳐진다.
특히 이벤트 경기로 창녕군 힘겨루기 소 중에서 최고 기량을 자랑하는 ‘선수’와 ‘순금’의 경기는 관람객에게 특별한 재미를 선사할 것으로 보인다.
축하공연과 창녕농특산물 장터 등 부대행사는 관람객에게 다양한 볼거리를 제공할 예정이며 냉장고와 TV, 창녕 농·특산물 등 많은 경품도 준비돼 있다.
