한수원, 전국 품질분임조 경진대회 16년 연속 금상 수상

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(사장 황주호, 이하 한수원)은 8월 28일부터 9월 1일까지 순천만 생태문화 교육원에서 열린 ‘제49회 전국 품질분임조 경진대회’에서 최고상인 금상을 수상했다고 5일 밝혔다.

이번 수상으로 한수원은 16년 연속 금상(대통령상)을 수상하며 발전소 운영에 대한 품질과 안전의 우수성을 다시 한번 인정받았다.

산업통상자원부와 전라남도 순천시가 공동 주최하고 한국표준협회가 주관한 이번 경진대회에는 전국 17개 시·도 지역예선을 통해 최종 선발된 273개 품질분임조가 참가했다.

한수원은 ‘폐필터 처리 공정 개선으로 작업시간 단축’을 주제로발표한 고리본부 3발전소 기계부와 ‘환경방사선감시설비 유지보수 프로세스 개선으로 업무시간 단축’을 주제로 발표한 한울본부 대외협력처 방재대책부가 금상을 수상하는 등 총 6개 품질분임조가 참가해 금상 2개, 은상 3개 및 동상 1개를 수상했다.

황주호 한수원 사장은 “이번 수상을 통해 한수원의 뛰어난 발전소 운영 능력을 입증하는 것은 물론, 원자력 안전과 원전산업 경쟁력 제고를 위해 한발 더 나아가는 계기가 됐다”며, “지속적인 품질혁신을 통해 국민에게 더욱 신뢰받는 한수원이 되도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
