영덕군은 앞서 상반기에 농업, 어업, 임업 경영체 등 자격요건을 갖추고 경상북도 내에서 1년 이상 거주한 농어민을 대상으로 농어민수당 지급대상자를 선정해 5,627개 농·어가에 30만원씩을 지원한 바 있다.
이번에 지급되는 하반기분은 상반기 지급대상자 중 자격요건을 계속 유지한 농어가에 지원되며, 연 매출 30억원을 초과하는 가맹점에서 사용이 제한되는 일반상품권과는 달리 종전처럼 자유롭게 사용할 수 있다.
김기동 농축산과장은 “농자재대 상승, 이상기후와 집중호우 등으로 농가의 어려움이 가중되는 가운데 농어민수당 지원으로 조금이나마 농·어가에 도움이 되길 바란다”며, “행정에서도 농어민의 소득안정과 지역경제 활성화를 위해 지속적인 노력을 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
