한중도시우호협회측이 9월12일자 보도자료는 “권기식 한중도시우호협회장이 12일 중국 생태문명만리행 조직위원회 한국 대표로 임명됐다. 장중(張仲) 중국 생태문명만리행 조직위원회 비서장은 이날 권 회장의 임명 수락 동영상을 국내외 협력 언론에 배포했다”고 밝혔다.
