13일 영덕군에 따르면 해양수산부가 주최하는 이번 환급행사는 일본 후쿠시마 오염수(일본 입장 처리수) 방류로 수산물 소비가 위축될 것을 우려해 시행되는 환급행사로, 영덕시장은 경상북도에서 환급행사가 열리는 2곳 중 하나이다.
오는 21일부터 27일까지 영덕읍 시장에서 운영하는 30여 개 점포에서 수산물을 구입하면 구매 금액의 최대 40%, 최대 2만 원까지를 온누리상품권으로 환급받을 수 있다.
2만 5,000원 이상 5만 원 미만 구매 시 1만 원을, 5만 원 이상 구매 시 2만 원을 환급 받을 수 있으며, 물건을 구입한 후 시장 내에 있는 환급부스를 방문해 바로 온누리상품권을 받을 수 있다.
이번 행사엔 총 4,000장, 4,000만 원 상당의 온누리상품권이 제공되며, 상품권 조기 소진 시 종료된다.
이와 함께 영덕군은 추석 명절을 앞두고 전통시장을 방문하는 소비자가 많이 늘어날 것을 예견되는 상황에서 소비자들이 안심하고 수산물을 구매할 수 있도록 영덕읍 시장 수산물에 대한 방사능 검사를 모두 마쳐 안전성을 확보했다.
김동희 영덕부군수는 “영덕시장에서 안전이 검증된 수산물을 저렴하게 구입해 온 가족이 건강하게 즐기시고 환급도 받아 가정에 도움이 되시길 바란다”며, “추석용으로 풍성한 수산물 선물세트 또한 준비돼 있으니 주변 귀한 분들께 사랑과 감사의 마음을 전하시길 추천드린다”고 전했다.
