브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 쿠팡이츠서비스는 배달파트너들의 사고 예방 및 안전의식 향상을 위해 ‘이륜차 교통안전교육’을 실시하고, 참여 배달파트너 전원에게 헬멧과 보호구를 지원했다고 18일 밝혔다.
이번에 실시된 ‘이륜차 교통안전교육’은 고용노동부에서 주관하는 ‘플랫폼종사자 일터개선 지원사업’의 일환으로 12일부터 3일간 시행됐다.
쿠팡이츠서비스 배달파트너 대상 대면으로 이뤄진 이번 교육은 이륜차 운전 특징 및 안전 운전 방법, 사고 사례 분석 및 예방 대책 등 실제 운행시 안전 필수내용을 중심으로 구성됐으며, 실효성을 높일 수 있도록 한국교통안전공단으로부터 지원된 전문 강사진을 통해 진행됐다.
쿠팡이츠서비스는 이륜차 교통안전교육을 수료한 배달파트너 전원에게 10만원 상당의 헬멧 또는 상체 보호대를 지급하며 실질적인 지원도 함께 챙겼다. 지난해에도 전국 배달파트너 8000명에게 KC인증 헬멧을 무상 지급했으며, 안전 보호구 제공에 대한 배달 파트너들의 만족도가 높아 고용노동부와 함께 헬멧, 무릎 및 팔꿈치 보호대를 2000명 배달파트너들에게 추가 지원한 바 있다.
