[김완영 기자 = 양주] 양주시(시장 강수현)는 오늘 18일 ‘양주오페라단(대표 이진주)’에서 ‘세계 명작 오페라 갈라콘서트 시리즈’를 선보인다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 경기도 문화의 날 사업으로 진행되는 ‘찾아가는 오페라 갈라 콘서트’의 일환으로 관내 문화 취약계층의 예술 참여 기회를 확대하고 오페라를 더욱 친숙하게 경험할 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.
관내 학생, 학부모, 여성, 장애인을 비롯해 일반시민들을 대상으로 진행되는 이번 오페라 시리즈는 오는 9월 말부터 11월 하순까지 총 3회 실시될 예정이다.
첫 번째로 관내 상수초등학교와 은현초등학교 학생 및 학부모를 대상으로 어린이를 위한 오페라 ‘마술피리’가 오는 25일 오후 1시에 관내 양주 상수초등학교 체육관에서 진행된다.
이번 공연은 소프라노 강민성, 윤현정, 정찬희와 테너 김기선, 바리톤 김원, 베이스 김대엽 등 대표 성악가들이 출연한다.
이어, 두 번째 공연인 여성을 위한 오페라 ‘라 트라비아타’가 오는 10월 24일 오후 2시 양주시육아종합지원센터 강당에서 진행된다.
세 번째는 장애인과 함께 즐길 수 있는 배리어프리 오페라 ‘사랑의 묘약’으로 오는 11월 30일 오후 2시에 양주시장애인종합복지관 강당에서 장애인과 일반시민들을 대상으로 진행될 예정이다.
