주요 계열사에서 협력사에 조기 지급하는 대금 규모는 CJ제일제당 약 1200억원, CJ푸드빌 약 132억원 등이며, 중소 납품업체 1200여 곳이 혜택을 받게 된다. 결제 대금은 오는 26~27일 순차적으로 지급될 예정이다.
CJ그룹 관계자는 “2015년부터 매년 명절마다 상생경영 실천을 위해 결제 대금을 앞당겨 지급해왔다”며 “명절을 앞두고 일시적으로 중소 협력업체에 가중되는 자금 부담 해소에 도움이 될 수 있길 바란다”고 전했다.
