브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 더불어민주당은 27일 이재명 대표에 대한 구속영장이 기각되자, 윤석열 대통령 사과와 한동훈 법무부 장관 파면을 요구하고 나섰다.
홍익표 민주당 원내대표는 이날 오전 국회에서 열린 최고위원회의에서 "무리한 정치수사에 대한 윤석열 대통령의 공식 사과와 실무책임자인 한동훈 장관의 파면으로 시작될 것"이라고 밝혔다.
정청래 최고위원도 이 자리에서 "윤석열 검찰독재정권의 폭력성만 여실히 드러난 이번 기각 사태에 대해 결재하고 재가한 한동훈 장관과 윤 대통령의 대국민 사과가 필요하다"고 거들었다.
정 최고위원은 "윤 대통령은 한 장관을 즉각 파면해야 한다. 한 장관도 일말의 양심이라도 있으면 책임지고 자진 사퇴하길 바란다"면서 "검찰과 한통속이 돼 이 대표 구속을 열망했던 민주당 가결파 의원들도 참회하고 속죄해야 할 것이다"라고 비판했다.
박찬대 최고위원은 "법원의 영장 기각으로 그간 검찰 수사가 얼마나 무도하고 무리한 것이었는지 확인된 것"이라며 "윤 대통령은 이제라도 무도한 정치탄압에 대해 즉각 사과하고 한 장관 파면을 포함해 전면적인 국정쇄신에 나서야 한다"고 촉구했다.
서영교 최고위원 역시 "이 모든 것은 국민을 속이기 위한 정치검찰의 사기극임이 밝혀졌다"며 "윤석열 대통령은 한동훈 장관 그리고 이원석 검창총장을 파면해야 한다. 여기서 북치고 장구쳤던 국민의힘도 모두 사과하고 책임져야 할 것"이라고 목소리 높였다.
장경태 최고위원도 "검찰의 막장드라마가 끝났다. 이제 조작수사에 대해 책임을 물어야 한다"며 "부당한 수사에 대한 조작수사 특검을 받길 바란다"고 했다.
서은숙 최고위원은 "헌정 역사상 피의사실을 유포하며 야당 정치인에 대해 가장 공개적으로 탄압한 법무부 장관, 헌정역사상 공무원의 정치적 중립의무을 가장 노골적 어긴 법무부 장관, 역사에 선명하게 기록을 남길 것이니 더 이상 아쉬워 말고 미련을 남기지 말고 사퇴하길 바란다"고 직격했다.
민주당은 최고위원회의 이후 열린 긴급 의원총회에서도 소속 의원 전원 명의의 입장문을 통해 "윤석열 검사독재정권의 무리하고 무도한 ‘이재명 죽이기’ 시도가 실패했다"면서 "윤 대통령은 이 대표 표적수사와 무리한 구속 시도에 대해 사과해야 하고, 이번 수사를 사실상 지휘한 한 장관을 즉각 파면해야 한다"고 거듭 강조했다.
