브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이스라엘이 가자지구 내 무장정파 하마스의 본부 건물을 공습해 최고 지휘관 중 한명인 아이만 노팔이 사망했다.
17일(현지시간) AP통신 등에 따르면 하마스 군사조직인 알카삼 여단은 이날 성명을 통해 "‘아부 아흐메드’라는 이름으로 알려진 아이만 노팔이 오늘 가자지구 중심부의 알부레이지 캠프를 겨냥한 이스라엘군의 공습으로 숨졌다"고 밝혔다.
노팔은 알카삼 여단의 중부 사령관이자, 하마스 군사위원회 일원으로 알려져 있는 인물이다.
이스라엘군은 이날 가자지구 중심부에 있는 알부레이지 난민캠프에 있는 한 주거용 건물에 공습을 가해 아이만 노팔을 사망케 한 것으로 전해졌다. 알아크사 병원 관계자는 이 공습으로 최소 12명이 숨지고 수십명이 다쳤다고 전했다.
