브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 신용보증기금은 지역균형 발전을 위한 비수도권 스타트업지점 전용상품인 ‘글로컬(Glocal) 스타트업 특화보증’을 출시한다고 20일 밝혔다.
글로컬 스타트업 특화보증은 비수도권 지방자치단체와 협업하는 ‘팀 스타트업 공동사업’의 일환으로 추진됐다. 업무협약이 체결된 지자체로부터 지역특화 스타트업을 추천받아 지원하는 ‘글로컬 스타트업 공동 지원사업’ 기반의 보증상품이다.
광주광역시, 대구광역시와 업무협약을 체결했으며, 올해 안에 나머지 5대 광역지자체까지 공동 지원사업을 확대해 나갈 예정이다.
지원대상은 협약 지자체로부터 추천받은 창업 후 7년 이내의 초격차 스타트업, 민간투자유치기업, 지자체 자체 프로그램 선정기업 등이다. △보증비율 100% △고정보증료율 0.5% △보증한도 우대 △퍼스트펭귄 선정 가점부여 등의 다양한 혜택이 제공된다.
신보 관계자는 “이번 특화보증 출시는 지방주도 균형발전을 위해 신보가 내딛는 첫걸음이라는 점에서 의미가 크다”며 “앞으로도 신보는 글로컬 스타트업 통합지원체계를 통해 지역특화 스타트업이 글로벌 기업으로 성장할 수 있도록 스타트업 종합지원기관으로서 역할을 다할 것이다”고 말했다.
