31일 알바몬에 따르면 아르바이트를 했던 경험이 있는 성인남녀 1108명을 대상으로 ‘처음 아르바이트를 한 시기와 이유’에 대해 설문조사를 진행한 결과, 첫 알바를 한 시기로 ‘고등학교 졸업 후 또는 대학 1학년 때’라 답한 응답자가 44.9%로 가장 많았다.
이어 ‘수능 후부터 고3 겨울방학 때’라고 답한 응답자가 28.3%였다. 대학수학능력시험을 마친 후부터 졸업 후, 대학 1학년 시기에 처음으로 아르바이트를 했다는 응답자가 절반 이상에 이르는 것이다.
