브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 한국부동산원은 ‘달구벌 굿라이프 협의체’ 사업의 일환으로. 지역 양봉농가 지원 및 생태계 환경 보전을 위한 ‘2023 꿀벌 생태계 보존 프로젝트’ 사업을 실시했다고 31일 밝혔다.
달구벌 굿라이프 협의체는 대구 지역 대학, 기업 및 공공기관으로 구성된 지역 ESG활동 협력 네트워크로, 한국부동산원과 경북대, 대구시사회복지협의회, DGB사회공헌재단, 한국장학재단 등 총 8개 기관이 참여한다.
‘꿀벌 보존 프로젝트’는 대구 지역 내 ESG활동 협력 네트워크인 달구벌 굿라이프 협의체의 하반기 협업 사업으로, 기후변화 등으로 개체 수가 급감하고 있는 꿀벌의 생태계 회복과 지역 양봉농가 활성화를 위해 실시됐다.
이에 따라 부동산원과 장학재단 등 협업 기관은 대구 복지시설 아동·청소년 47명을 대상으로 꿀벌의 생태환경에 대해 학습할 수 있는 ‘꿀벌나라 테마공원 및 칠곡호국 평화기념관 탐방 프로그램’을 지원했다.
또한, 지역 양봉농가의 판로 지원을 위해 경북 양봉농가에서 생산한 꿀벌 제품 1500만원 상당을 대구지역 시니어 클럽 및 가족센터에 기부하는 등 ESG경영 실천을 이어갔다.
이 밖에도 꿀벌 개체 수 감소의 심각성을 알리고, 미래세대의 생태감수성을 제고하고자 ‘탄소중립 크리에이터 어린이 랜선 미술대회’를 개최하는 등 달구벌 굿라이프 협의체 회원 기관의 다양한 지원사업이 함께 실시됐다.
한국부동산원 유은철 부원장은 “민·관·학 협동으로 지속가능한 생태계를 위한 프로젝트에 참여하게 돼 뜻깊게 생각한다”며 “미래세대에게 더 나은 환경을 물려주기 위해 친환경 경영에 더욱 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.
