울진군은 지난 5월 ‘울진군 장수축하금 지급에 관한 조례’를 제정했다. 100세 이상 어르신들의 안녕과 장수를 기원하며 생애 1회 100만원을 지급한다.
올해 장수축하금은 추가경정예산에서 관련 사업비를 확보해 시행하며, 지급 대상은 주민등록상 울진군에 1년 이상 등록된 100세 이상의 장수 어르신들이다.
주민등록상 100세 생일이 속하는 달부터 읍·면 행정복지센터에서 신청할 수 있고 익월 중 금융 계좌이체로 지급된다.
대상자가 고령인 점을 감안해 모든 대상자에게 개별 안내문 발송과 전화 안내를 하고, 본인이 직접 가지 않아도 가족이나 보호자 등에게 위임 신청이 가능하다.
손병복 울진군수는“앞으로도 어르신들이 건강하고 활기찬 노후를 보내실 수 있도록 다양한 복지 정책을 발굴하고 추진해 나갈 계획이다”라고 말했다.
