【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(사장 황주호, 이하 한수원)은 지난 31일 체코 신규원전 건설사업의 발주사(EDUII)에 건설사업 참여를 위한 최종 입찰서를 제출했다.

1일 한수원에 따르면 체코 신규원전 건설사업은 1,200MW급 원전 1기를 건설하는 사업으로 체코 측은 두코바니 지역에 2029년 건설 착수, 2036년 상업운전을 목표로 신규원전 건설을 계획하고 있다.
이를 위해 발주사는 지난해 3월 한국, 미국, 프랑스 등 3개 나라의 공급사를 대상으로 입찰 안내서를 발급했으며, 한수원을 비롯한 공급사들은 지난해 11월 최초 입찰서를 제출했다.
이어 발주사와 한수원은 최초 입찰서에 대한 설명과 질의응답 등의 과정을 통해 입찰서 내용을 확인하고 명료화하는 절차를 진행했다.
이 과정에서 한수원은 발주사의 추가 요청사항들을 충실하게 반영해 팀코리아(한국전력기술, 한전KPS, 한전원자력연료, 두산에너빌리티, 대우건설)와 함께 수정한 최종 입찰서를 작성해 제출했다.
황주호 한수원 사장은 "발주사는 내년 상반기까지 우선협상대상자를 선정한 후 협상 과정을 거쳐 내년 말까지 계약을 체결한다는 계획"이라며, "최종 사업자로 선정될 수 있도록 끝까지 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.
