금복문화재단, 울진군 장학재단에 장학금 1,000만원 기탁

13일 울진군에 따르면 금복문화재단은 올해 대구·경북의 31개 시·군·구를 대상으로 지역인재 육성을 위해 장학금 각 1,000만원씩 기부를 비롯하여 문화인 포상, 문화예술 학술단체 후원 등 다양한 사업으로 지역사회 공헌 활동에 앞장서고 있다.

이날 금복문화재단을 대표해 기탁식에 참석한 김일환 ㈜금복주 대표이사는“지역의 우수한 학생들이 꿈과 희망을 잃지 않고 훌륭한 인재로 성장하는 데 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 전했다.

한편 (재)금복문화재단은 1987년 ㈜금복주의 창립 30주년을 기하여 기업의 사회적 책임을 다하고 기업의 이익을 사회에 환원해 지역사회와 기업의 공존을 모색하고‘사회적, 경제적 가치는 문화로부터 시작된다’는 인식하에 향토 문화 보존과 지역문화 예술 발전을 도모하기 위하여 설립됐다.

울진군 장학재단 이사장인 손병복 울진군수는“어려운 시기임에도 지역의 인재 양성을 위한 관심과 지원에 감사드린다”며“기탁받은 장학금으로 우리 지역의 미래를 이끌어갈 인재 양성에 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
