【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경북문화재단 콘텐츠진흥원(원장 이종수, 이하 진흥원)이 운영하는 경북웹툰캠퍼스는 오는 15일부터 12월 14일까지 캠퍼스 전시홀에서 ‘토푸’ 작가의 ‘찰나의 순간: 작지만 소중한 행복’ 개인전을 진행한다고 14일 밝혔다.

경주를 무대로 활동 중인 토푸 작가는 문구 브랜드 ‘냠냠토푸’를통해 대중에게 경주 문화재를 더욱 친근하고 사랑스럽게 소개하는 작품을 선보인다.
경주시 청년감성상점 공모 등에 당선된 이력이 있고대표 캐릭터인 ‘냠냠친구들’과 함께 오프라인 행사와 SNS를 넘나들며 지역의 멋을 알리는 데에 힘쓰고 있다.
이번 전시는 캠퍼스 지원사업의 일환으로, 도민들에게 경북 지역의 웹툰 창작자들을소개하고 지역 문화 저변을 확대하고자 기획됐다.
작가는 전시를 통해 ‘행복이란 무엇인가’에 대한 질문을 던진다. 작품 속 캐릭터가전하는 메시지는 간결하고 명확하다.
커피를 즐기고 취미 생활에 열중하는 등 일상 그대로의 자연스러운 모습을 보여준다. 그를 통해 관람객들에게 행복을 찾아가는 여정을전달하며스스로 ‘내가 가장 사랑하는 찰나의 순간’을 채워 보는 것은 어떨까라고 은근히 주문하고 있다.
이번 전시에서는 웹툰 아트워크 20여 점, 기획 영상 1점, 포토존 1곳 등 다채로운 볼거리를 만나볼 수 있다.
이종수 경북문화재단 콘텐츠진흥원장은 “하반기 지역 작가 기획전의 두번째 페이지가 펼쳐졌다”며“앞으로도 진흥원과 캠퍼스가 선보일 다채로운 사업에 많은 관심과 응원을 부탁한다.”고 당부했다.

Gyeongbuk Webtoon Campus holds artist Tofu’s solo exhibition

He has a history of winning in Gyeongju City's youth sensibility store contest, and is working hard to promote local fashion through offline events and social media with his representative character, ‘Yum Yum Friends’.
As part of the campus support project, this exhibition was planned to introduce webtoon creators in the Gyeongbuk region to residents and expand the base of local culture.
Through the exhibition, the artist asks the question, ‘What is happiness?’ The message conveyed by the characters in the work is concise and clear.
He shows his natural side of everyday life, enjoying coffee and focusing on his hobbies. Through this, he conveys the journey of finding happiness to the audience, and secretly asks them to fill in the ‘moments that I love the most.’
In this exhibition, you can see a variety of things to see, including 20 webtoon artworks, 1 special video, and 1 photo zone.
Lee Jong-soo, head of the Content Promotion Agency of the Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation, said, “The second page of the local artist special exhibition for the second half of the year has been opened,” and asked, “We ask for your interest and support in the various projects that the Promotion Agency and the campus will continue to present.”
