영덕군, ‘홍범연의를 낳은 갈암종가 학술포럼’ 개최

【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박희경 기자=영덕군은 지난 27일 영덕 무형문화재전수관에서 고택 종갓집 활용사업의 일환으로 ‘2023년 홍범연의를 낳은 갈암종가 학술포럼’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

영덕군이 주최하고 (사)우리문화유산알림이가 주관한 이번 포럼에는 영덕 관내 고등학교 학생 150여 명이 참여한 가운데 한국사 최고의 스타 강사 최태성 선생의 강연이 진행됐다.

이날 최태성 강사는 ‘갈암 이현일과 장계향 모자의 삶과 사회문화적 자취’라는 주제 강연과 함께 각 학교 학생 대표들과 역사와 현실에 대한 열띤 토론을 펼쳤다.

장덕식 문화관광과장은 “이번 학술포럼을 통해 학생들이 지역의 역사적인 인물인 ‘갈암 이현일’과 ‘여중군자 장계향’ 모자에 대해 알 수 있는 의미 있는 시간이 되었기를 바란다”며, “이들의 삶과 정신을 널리 알려 지역 역사와 문화에 대한 자부심을 드높일 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
