브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회 말박물관은 1일 기획전시 ‘나의 그림, 나의 드림(Dream)’ 기획전을 개최한다.
연말연시를 맞이해 장애 청소년들의 꿈을 응원하기 위해 마련한 이번 전시는 평소 그림에 재능이 있고, 그림그리기를 좋아하는 장애 청소년들의 작품 35점을 선보인다.
과천장애인복지관의 어린이들을 비롯해 제주에서 여러 차례 미술대회 수상 실적으로 두각을 나타내고 있는 김용원 군, 작품 제작 과정을 SNS로 소개하고 있는 울산의 안드레 군 등 전국 15개 특수학교와 특수학급 청소년들이 기획전에 참가한다.
작품을 출품한 청소년들은 전시 기간 중 본인의 그림이 전시된 전시실에 가족과 친구들을 초청해 작품을 설명하며 화가의 꿈에 한걸음 다가설 예정이다.
또한, 이번 전시에는 청소년기 활발한 작품 활동을 통해 현재는 여러 기업과 협업도 펼치고 있는 강남복지관 성분도대학의 진리 작가가 특별 게스트로 참가해 후배 꿈나무들에게 힘을 실어줄 계획이다.
말박물관 관계자는 “사람들이 피카소나 고흐의 작품을 좋아하는 것은 엄청나게 사실적인 묘사를 했기 때문이 아니라 작가만의 색감 구성과 붓터치 등 독특한 표현 방식이 있기 때문이다”며 “청소년들의 그림에서 발견되는 자유로움과 개성, 순수함은 소중한 씨앗이다. 그 속에서 어떤 꽃이 피어나게 될지 함께 탐색하고 응원하는 자리가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

한편, 말박물관은 내년 2월 25일까지 개최하는 전시 기간 중 전시장을 찾아 인증사진을 업로드하면 미니 말 피규어를 증정하는 이벤트도 진행한다.
관람시간은 매주 화~일요일 11시부터~17시 30분까지며, 매주 월요일은 정기휴관이다. 설 연휴도 임시 휴무다.
