필자는 올해 기자생활 50년째이다. 1973년 군대에 입대, 군대에서 정훈부에 근무, 이 기간까지 기자생활에 넣는다. 그래서 기자생활 50년이라 주장한다. 이 50년 기간 중, 지난 1985년부터 1989년까지 뉴욕 맨해튼에서 기자로 활동했었다. 한국어 신문인 세계신보(세계타임스)에서, 주로 한국 내 반독재투쟁 관련 기사를 취급-보도했었다.
