브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대표가 2일 부산 강서구 대항전망대를 방문해 가덕신공항 건설 예정지를 둘러보다 괴한으로부터 피습을 당한 가운데 경정맥 손상이 우려된다는 의료진 소견이 나왔다.
권칠승 민주당 수석대변인은 이날 이재명 대표가 입원 중인 부산 서구 부산대병원 권역외상센터 앞에서 "현재 이 대표의 상태는 경정맥 손상이 의심된다는 게 의료진의 의견"이라며 "대량 출혈이나 추가 출혈이 우려되는 상황이라 서울대병원으로 후송 후 신속하게 수술할 예정"이라고 밝혔다.
권 대변인은 이어 "더 구체적 내용은 비상 상황이라 확인하기 어렵다"며 "수술은 통상적으로 40~50분 정도 걸리고, 구체적 상황은 의료진 의견이 나오면 알려드리겠다"고 설명했다.
그는 특히 "괴한에 의한 피습 테러를 강력히 규탄하고 명백한 민주주의 파괴 행위다. 어떠한 추측도 자제해 주시길 바란다"며 이번 피습에 대한 확대해석을 경계했다.

한편, 이재명 대표는 이날 오전 10시 30분경 부산 가덕도 신공항 부지를 둘러보던 중 신원 미상의 남성으로부터 피습을 당했다. 이 남성은 이 대표 지지자인 것처럼 이 대표에게 접근해 사인을 요청한 뒤, 기습적으로 흉기로 꺼내 공격한 것으로 알려졌다.
이 대표는 현장에서 응급 처치를 받은 뒤 20분 후 병원으로 옮겨졌고, 해당 남성은 현장에서 경찰에 체포됐다.
