브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 흉기 피습을 당한 이재명 더불어민주당 대표가 서울대병원에서 수술을 받고 중환자실에서 회복 중이다.
박성준 민주당 대변인은 3일 오전 YTN라디오 '뉴스킹 박지훈입니다'에 출연해 "지금 대표는 중환자실에 있고 중환자실은 하루에 한 번만 가족 면회가 가능하다"고 밝혔다.
그는 "수술은 잘 마무리가 됐다고 한다"면서 "지금은 경과를 잘 지켜봐야 될 것 같다. 중환자실에 있는 만큼 상황이 심각했다라고 할 수 있겠다"고 전했다.
이 대표의 구체적인 건강 상태를 묻는 질문엔 "어제 수술 이후 바로 중환자실에 들어가 있었기 때문에 어떤 상황인지 알 수가 없다"며 "어제 사모님만 면회를 한 번 한 것으로 알고 있다"고 답했다.
또한 얼마나 입원해야 하는지를 묻는 질문에도 "그런 상황은 아직은 알려진 건 없다. 의료진은 수술이 잘 됐다는 얘기를 했다고 한다"고 설명했다.

한편, 이재명 대표는 2일 오전 10시 30분쯤 부산 강서구 대항동 가덕도신공항 부지를 둘러보다 60대 남성으로부터 흉기 습격을 받았다. 이 남성은 지지자인 것처럼 이 대표의 가까이까지 접근한 뒤 갑자기 이 대표를 공격한 것으로 알려졌다.
이 대표는 현장에서 응급처지를 받은 뒤 오전 11시 15분경 부산대병원으로 이송됐다가 오후 3시 20분경 헬기를 타고 서울대병원으로 이송돼 수술을 받았다.
이 대표는 내경정맥이 손상된 것이 확인됐으며 2시간가량 혈관 재건술 등 수술을 받았다.
